Fast Food Style Egg Fried Rice

Egg Fried rice can be made within a short time. It is also a good lunch box dish for kids as well as adults. Today let’s make Fast Food Style Egg Fried Rice without any compromise in taste. As we all know that taking fast food dishes creates multiple health issues so it is good to learn to prepare those fast food dishes at home without adding any kind of unhealthy things.

Ingredients

  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Rice – 1.5 cup
  • Onion – 1
  • Capsicum – 1
  • Cabbage – small piece
  • Beans – 10
  • Carrot – 1
  • Egg – 3
  • Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  • White Pepper powder – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Garam Masala powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt – To taste

Instructions

1Soak boiled rice in water for 30 mins and pressure cook the rice for 3 whistle and then transfer the rice into plate and allow it to cool.

 

2Heat the pan and pour oil. Once the oil is hot, add the Ginger Garlic Paste and keep in low flame and sauté until the raw smell goes off.

 

3Now add onion, sauté for minute and then add capsicum cook for minute. Add grated cabbage and sauté until the raw smell goes off and cook for 2 mins.

 

4Add grated carrot and then beans and sauté well. Add salt to the above vegetables and close with a lid and leave for 2 mins in medium or low flame.

 

5Now keep the stove in low flame and then keep all the veggies in one side of the pan and add little oil to the same pan and pour the egg and add turmeric powder, pinch of salt and ½ tbsp white pepper powder to the egg. Keep sauting the egg as it is getting cooked and then mix with the vegetables well.

 

6Now add the ½ tbsp pepper powder, garam masala powder and then add salt and mix well. Now add the rice to the above mixture and mix well and make sure stove is in low flame.

 

7Mix all the ingredients well and check for taste. If needed add salt and pepper at this stage and mix well. Turn off the flame and our fried rice is ready.

 

8Serve Hot and Spicy Fast Food Style Egg Fried Rice with Tomato Ketchup or Tomato Chilli Sauce as per your wish.

 

Tips

  • Don’t add too much oil for fried rice because it makes the dish sticky.
  • You can also add 2 sliced green chillies at the time of seasoning if you want it to be more spicy.
  • If you wish to add one more egg to the dish, you can add to make it more stuffy.
